Makassarviral.com, Makassar, Selasa, 29/09/2026 — Okayama Connection distributed 100 relief bags to Kumamoto earthquake victims, supported by Hashimoto Zaidan and volunteers from three Indonesian organizations in Okayama.
Relief Distribution Details
Okayama Connection is a collaboration of KMIO, PPI Okayama, and BVJO.
Ten volunteers departed from Masjid Indonesia Kurashiki using two vans to reach Kumamoto.
They delivered 49 relief bags in Ogawa, Uki‑shi, and 51 bags in Yatsushiro.
Each bag contains food supplies and essential items for affected families.
The operation received main support from Hashimoto Zaidan covering logistics and travel costs.
Total recorded support for the activity reached ¥684,000.
Hashimoto Zaidan’s contribution is seen as trust in the Indonesian community’s humanitarian movement in Japan.
Okayama Connection thanked Hashimoto Zaidan, Human Initiative Japan, and PPI Japan for their assistance.
