Makassarviral.com, Makassar, Selasa, 22/09/2026 — Pertamina Patra Niaga adjusted the allocation of 3 kg LPG across several regions of Sulawesi to meet local demand.

Regional adjustments to meet local demand

In South and West Sulawesi, the distribution of 3 kg LPG was increased to 136 percent of normal levels during the recent period. The expansion supports smoother delivery through official distribution networks in the area.

In Central Sulawesi, a 66 percent increase in supply was made for the Morowali area, based on monitoring of local needs. Adjustments reflect the evolving requirements observed in the region.

North Sulawesi and Gorontalo also saw targeted increases, including a 46.9 percent rise in Tomohon city, part of the broader North Sulawesi distribution plan. These adjustments are coordinated with agents and distribution points.

Monitoring and community guidance

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi Lilik Hardiyanto said allocations are evaluated regularly to align with each region’s characteristics.

“We assess the distribution of 3 kg LPG periodically based on conditions in each area,” kata Lilik Hardiyanto, Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Selasa, 22/09/2026.

“When demand rises, we adjust allocations and add supply to keep official channels functioning smoothly,” kata Lilik Hardiyanto, Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Selasa, 22/09/2026.

The company works with agents and distribution points to ensure added supply reaches households according to regulations.

Pertamina urges residents to obtain 3 kg LPG from official distribution points and buy only what is needed, as the product is subsidised and reserved for eligible families.

Ongoing monitoring of 3 kg LPG demand across Sulawesi continues, with regular evaluations of distribution performance.

Adjustments can be made quickly if field conditions change, the company added.
